Earlier C19 terraced house, part of a downslope stepped terrace marked on 1844 tithe map.
Terraced house, painted roughcast cladding, with slate roof and end stacks, of stone rubble to left and rendered and higher to right. Two-storey, 3-window range of 4-pane sash windows and central doorway. Original 6-panelled door with overlight.
Front garden enclosed by colourwashed stone rubble retaining wall with 6 steps up to entry level to right.
Included as a traditional terraced house in a prominent stepped terrace on the approach to the upper town.
