History

C19 terraced cottage, with late C19 detail, apparently built later than lower adjoining houses, left wall overlaps wall of No 1 Lydstep Buildings.

Exterior

Terraced house, painted stucco front to street with close-eaved imitation slate roof. Two storeys and attic, one-window range. Big gabled dormer with casement pair. First floor right canted oriel window with 2-4-2-pane glazing, fixed to front, moulded cornice and hipped roof. Chamfered base. Ground floor horned tripartite 2-4-2-pane sash, under oriel, in moulded surround. Basement grill in front. Doorway to left, against party wall of No 1 Lydstep Buildings, with keystone and moulded strip cornice. Recessed 4-panel door with overlight.
