Built in the third quarter of the C19 and first shown on the 1890 Ordnance Survey. It was a butcher's shop in 1895.
A shop and house of 3 storeys and 3 windows, of scribed stucco and slate roof with roughcast stack to the L. The middle and upper storeys have windows replaced late C20 in earlier openings. In the lower storey is a C19 shop front with 4 slender cast iron posts supporting a plain wooden fascia. A central replaced door is half-lit and has an overlight painted over. The doorway is flanked by 3-light windows with thin wooden mullions and transom.
Listed as a C19 building retaining a good shop front and for its contribution to the historic integrity of the walled town.
