This is a digital copy of a colour print I took in August 1998. Berwyn House had been the family home from the 1890s until it was sold about 1947. During that period, when Gwenllian Roberts lived here (and her children and some grandchildren were born here) there was only one front door, the central one in this photo. The kitchen was the room at the right side of this photo and had two windows. After the family sold it, it was converted into two residences, and one of the hitherto kitchen windows was enlarged to form the second, right-hand, doorway.
