Monument to Amelia Earhart

A Grade II Listed Building in Burry Port, Carmarthenshire

Burry Port - Amelia Earhart memorial, weather vane - photo by John Clements - taken 17th November 2018

Uploader's Comments

The weather vane above the memorial depicts an distinctly unrepresentative aeroplane, which looks more like a Supermarine S6B (precursor of the Spitfire) than the tri-motor Fokker F7 which landed in Burry Port harbour.
