History

Court Farm is principally C16 and early C17. The barn is later, and is shown on the 1839 Tithe map.

Exterior

Rubble-stone lofted farm building, much overgrown at the time of inspection, with former slate roof missing but with rafters in situ. The S front has an embattled parapet on a corbel table. It has 2 pointed doorways, of which the R-hand is higher, both of which have replaced arches of rock-faced stone. Above the doorways are putlog holes and a line of 3 ventilation strips. The rear, where the ground level is a higher, has a central loft doorway.

Listed, notwithstanding its present condtion, as a farm building of distinctive character, and for group value with the farmhouse.
