History

Commercial premises with 2 shops, similar to No 53 adjoining, which is refronting of C18 building, here externally C19 but also a refronting. No 52 occupied by D.C. Griffiths, gents mercer, in c1914 photograph, by D.L. Griffiths draper in 1926.

Exterior

Commercial premises, painted stucco street elevation with plain eaves cornice to flat or low pitched slate roof. Truncated chimney to left. Three storeys, 4 bays, plate glass sash windows to all upper floor windows. Two C20 shop fronts with house door between, under alteration to single shop 2002.

Interior

Three oak beams in ground floor front, otherwise altered with new stair.
