History

Terraced house, the first of a row, Nos 6 to 12, probably of late C18 to early C19 origins, the others altered. The row belonged to the attorney Edward Jones in the rate books of 1810-11. Marked on 1844 tithe map as owned by Edward Jones.

Exterior

Terraced house, 2 storeys, 3 bays with slate eaves roof and rendered stacks. Rendered front with smaller upper windows, 9-pane sashes each side of blank window, ground floor 12-pane sashes and centre door. All windows and door renewed in late C20, windows with concrete sills.

Reasons for Listing

Included as a Georgian style terraced house on one of the oldest streets of the town with good late Georgian character.
