History

Lofted stable building, probably earlier C19. The barns are said to have all been built as a condition of tenancy after the Lloyd family bought the estate.

Exterior

Stable building, rubble stone with slate roof. Front wall to yard has three renewed windows, two 12-pane hopper windows and one fixed 9-pane window, all with stone voussoirs and thin stone sills. The middle window was a door. Right end wall facing over yard entry has door with overlight to left of centre, and centre loft door. Large lean to addition on left end with low-pitched slate roof. Windowless rear wall.

Wooden stalls within.

Included for group value with the lofted cart-shed opposite, framing the entry to the farmyard.
