History

Early C19 cottage, unaltered externally apart from joinery replacement.

Exterior

Built of local rubblestone completely painted over, natural slate roof. Double depth central entry plan. Two storeys, two windows. Late C20 part glazed door with small gabled hood. Eight over 8 pane sashes under elliptical heads, smaller on the upper floor. Plain low pitch roof with brick stack at each gable.
Rear elevation not seen.

Included for its special interest as a well-preserved early C19 cottage retaining simple Georgian characer.
