Built in the 2nd half of the C19 and shown on the 1889 Ordnance Survey.
A 2-storey double-fronted house of whitened roughcast, and slate roof in a range with No 22 Chapel Street, and a brick stack to the L. The front has a black-painted plinth and thin architraves. Windows are hornless sashes. In the lower storey openings have segmental heads, comprising a panel door with overlight, flanked by 12-pane window to the L and 9-pane to the R. The 1st floor has 9-pane windows to the eaves.

Listed for its special interest as a small simple town house, one of a pair with No 22 Chapel Street, retaining definite C19 character, for its contribution to the architectural integrity of Erskine Terrace and overall historical townscape.
