C15 origin. Rebuilt C16/Cl7 with early Cl8 front. 2 storeys colourwashed
brick. Flat eaves cornice. Gable end old tile roof (formerly with 2 dormers).
5 windows on 1st floor: flush framed sashes with heavy glazing bars. On ground
floor passageway to left leads to Ivy Place qv. Rest of ground floor occupied
by altered late Cl9 shop front with fascia and flanking pilasters. 2 timber
framed wings to rear, brick infilling, irregular fenestration. The north
west wing has a roof of collar and tie beams, curved braces and clasped purlins.
Exposed timber framing in south wall to passage.

Nos 63 to 67B (odd) form a group.
