Circa 1830-40 pair of 2 storey red brick small houses, No 22 painted and with
extra storey to rear. Low pitch hipped slate roofs, flat eaves. 2 windows
each on first floor, recessed sashes, glazing bars intact No 24. On ground
floor No 22 has 3 light thin mullioned shop window in pilaster frame with
cornice over. Plain doorcase with leaded hood. Partly flush panelled door,
reeded doorhead, rectangular fanlight. No 24 has one sash window, glazing bars
intact, on ground floor. Recessed door of 6 flush panels, flush panelled
reveals, reeded doorhead, rectangular fanlight with curved sided diamond glazing
pattern. Architrave surround with roundel comer blocks, shallow cornice hood
over.
Nos 16 to 26 (even) form a group.
