Cottage. C17, with late C20 addition. Timber framed with lath and plaster and
whitewashed brick infill, and whitewashed brick. Thatched roof; brick ridge
stack. 2-unit plan; extended to 3-unit L-plan. One storey and attic; one-window
range. Late C20 door with thatched hood. Irregular fenestration: C19 and C20
casements with glazing bars. Attic with swept dormer. Right return side has
jowled posts and framed gables, underbuilt with whitewashed brick. Exposed
framing to rear. Timber-framed addition on left continues building line and same
style, using old timbers with plaster infill. 2 ground-floor windows and swept
dormer. Exposed framing to left return side and rear. Interior: C17 and late C2(J
exposed framing. Late C20 open fireplace.
