Early C17 box timber framed building, altered C18 and C19, 1½ storeys, brick infill
and roughcast painted front. In original form as a 1 storey hall and service range
with contemporary crosswing projecting from front elevation. Gable end tiled roofs.
C19 sashes and casements. Small gabled dormer. Large central ridge stack serves
both hall and crosswing. C18 external stack to front. The small cottage west wing
probably built as an ancillary service unit to the farmhouse. The timber frame is
exposed to rear and at the entrance end of the hall where a lean-to porch has been
added. Baffle entry, staircase to right entrance door.
