TYNEMOUTH ALLENDALE PLACE (west side) NZ 3669 SE Tynemouth 9/37 Nos 1 and 2 G.V. II 2 houses, no. 2 at right divided into flats. Circa 1840. English bond brick with ashlar basement and dressings; Welsh slate roof. Basement and 3 storeys; 3 and 3 bays. Central 4-panelled doors, under overlight, recessed in architraves; basement doors beneath side steps. Later oriels flank door of no. 2 at right. All other windows sashes with glazing bars, wedge stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Ground and first floor bands, eaves gutter band and cornice. 2 right end ashlar corniced brick chimneys to low-pitched hipped roof.
