House. Circa 1830. English bond brick with ashlar basement and dressings; Welsh
slate roof. Basement and 3 storeys; 3 bays by one in left return to Allendale
Place. 4-panelled door under overlight in architrave in bay 2; inserted sash at
left in bay 2; all windows sashes with glazing bars under stone wedge lintels;
slightly recessed stone sills above brick panels on ground floor; projecting
stone sills to second floor; ground and first floor bands; eaves gutter cornice
above band. Basement door under steps to main door. Slightly-projecting brick
pilaster at left corner. Bracketed cast iron balconies to each first floor
window. One end brick chimney at right of low-pitched hipped roof.
