Probably mainly C18 with alterations. Two storeys, part probably with loft.

No 56, stucco, painted. Old tile roof. Four near-slush-frame sash windows, at first floor, now with centre glazing bars only. Altered ground floor with modern shops. Door with six fielded panels and flat arch. Weather-boarded side, with projecting end chimney. No 58, two windows at first floor, brick, painted. Tile roof. Ground floor shop.

Nos 60, probably late C18 altered, three windows in all, at first floor including centre blank panel. Amber brick. Parapet with stone cope. Gauged flat arches to sash windows with vertical glazing bars. Ground floor shop with wood case; separate entrance, with wood doorcase, and one sash window, south. No 60 is a one storey shop wing, north, with modern front.

These premises comprise a group.

No 56 was demolished following Listed Building Consent in 1987
