Early C20. Ashlar. Pitched roof. 1 storey. Full entablature, modillion cornice
and parapet. 4 banded pilasters. 2 outer bays have doorways with plain architrave
and panelled reveals, left hand open, right hand with panelled door. 2 oval
oculi with glazing bars above. Central bay rusticated: round-arched window with
glazing bars and keystone in concave surround, with sill with fret pattern.
Iron canopy to outer bays, on fluted consoles with guttae. Paralled soffit.
Cornice, with panelled frieze and anthemiae above, links both parts of canopy.
Nos 131 to 144 (consec) and Midland Bank form a group with the Town Hall and
Nos 1 to 12 (consec), opposite.
