ROWINGTON APWORTH STREET SP16NE (East side) Lowsonford 3/93 Fleur de Lys Public House 21.9.88 GV II Public house. C15, with probably C16 addition and later alterations and additions. Roughcast, probably on timber-framing; painted brick to left; old plain-tile roofs; various brick stacks including ridge stack to centre of main range with diagonally set flues. 2-storey, 2-bay main range with 2-storey, 3-bay cross-wing to right and 2-storey, 4-bay addition to left. C20 ribbed door to centre of main range with wood architrave surround and pediment gabled hood on brackets. Irregular fenestration, mostly of C20 casements, except 4-light C18 casement to first floor right of main range, and 3-light C18 casement to first floor right of addition to left. Interior: much framing visible to interior. [ 103]
