Late C18 3 storey 5 window symmetrical ashlar facade, All openings in
lain reveals. Sashes with glazing bars, cased frames, 3-light windows
on ground floor and to central bay of ripper floors. All openings on ground
floor and central window on first floor have segmental, panelled tympana.
Reeded doorcase in plain reveals with side lights and large fanlight. Projecting
plinth. String course in continuation of first floor window sills. Moulded
cornice with blocking course which steps up over central bay. Reputed
to contain panelled room in manager's quarters.

All the listed buildings in High Street (South Side) form a group.
