2/22 Nos 57 and 59 (Angel Cottage)
II

Pair of cottages. C18. Diaper brick with thatched roof. Single
storey and attic. Approximately symmetrical, each of 1 bay with
party central stack, each extended by narrow lean-to bay at end.
No 57 has boarded door with glazed panel. Plat band, and each
cottage has C19 casement windows and one flush dormer. Lean-to to
No 57 colourwashed, to No 59 timber framed and colourwashed and
contain door and gable stack. Scratch dates on brickwork of 1777
and 1781.
