An imposing pair of semi-detached early-mid C19 grey gault brick houses with
stucco quoins and stucco dressings. It comprises a main block of 3 storeys
and 2, 2 storeyed side wings. The main block has 4 window range and the
side blocks have 2 window range each. The windows are double-hung sashes
with single vertical glazing bars (the windows in the north west wing have
glazing bars ). The windows in the centre block have stucco architraves on
the 1st and 2nd storeys and stucco pilasters with frieze and segmental pediments
on the ground storey. A stucco band runs at 2nd storey window sill level, stucco
entrance porches project on the side wings. Roofs slate, hipped, with a modillion
eaves cornice with an ornamented frieze beneath and a large rectangular central
chimney stack.

Nos 121 to 127 (odd) and Nos 139 to 185 (odd) form a group with Nos 120
to 152 (even), Nos 156 to 162 (even) and Nos 168 and 168B.
