Latin inscription reads 'Johannes Throkmorton et Alianora uxor ejus at Thomas filius eorum. Johannes fuit sub thesaurarius Angliae qui vero obijt vicesimo tertio die Aprilis anno domini millmo CCCC XLV. Quorum animabus pro-picietur deus. Amen'. Translated as 'John Throckmorton and his wife Eleanor and their son Thomas. John was Under-Treasurer of England, who verily died the 23rd day of April in the year of our Lord 1445. On whose souls may God have mercy. Amen'
