A Grade II Listed Building in Radcliffe on Trent, Nottinghamshire

Church of St Mary, Radcliffe on Trent

Arched wicket between the hall and the churchyard, early C19. The stubby pier on the right appears designed to take the weight of a wrough iron gate. The lower part of the gap has been blocked with slender C18 bricks, doubtless from a demolished outhouse. The job has been completed with C19 brick from a later outhouse (larger, painted, bricks).
