Estate cottage. Early C19. Brick, rendered, with hipped pantile
roofs. Rendered plinth and partial band. Very deep rebated
eaves. Grouped central ridge stack. Single storey plus attics,
single bay, square plan. Windows are Gothick casements, some
boarded up. South front has to left, canted bay window with
casementand hipped pentice roof extended to right to form porch.
Canted opening with recessed door. Above, central dormer with
casement. East side has lean-to with C20 casement and to right,
Gothick casement. Above, dormer with Gothick casement. Rear
elevation has, above, a similar dormer. West side has a blocked
opening and a Gothick casement. This building is part of the
complete Estate Village laid out by Earl Manvers of Thoresby Park
1807-1812.
