House. 2 builds. Left part probably C17 with C18/C19 alterations. Right part
probably C18. Main house to left: Regular coursed ironstone rubble, stone slate
roof laid to diminishing courses. Stone copings.Chimneys of 3 brick shafts on
stone bases to ends and ridge to right of entrance. 4-unit plan. Two storeys
plus attic; 5-window range. C19 verandah flanked by pairs of sash windows. Main
entrance has 6-panelled door with 4 lights and overlight. 5 sash windows to
first floor have keystoned architraves. 4 gabled attic dormers with lead cames.
Extension to right: Regular coursed ironstone rubble and C20 tile roof. One
brick stack on stone base to right. Shallow roof pitch. 2-unit plan. Single
storey plus ttic. Ground floor has conservatory attached at front containing
entrance. 2 sash windows to ground floor have wooden lintels. 2 windows to
attic. Interior not inspected.
