Farmhouse, now house. Late C17 with roof raised in C18 and C20 alterations.
Limestone ashlar. Raised stone slate roof. Stone-end stacks with renewed stone
shafts. Stone coped gable with moulded kneelers and finials. L-plan. 2 storeys
plus cellar. 3-window range. Entrance off-centre to right reached by 3 stone
steps has 4-panelled door, 4-centred arched stone doorway with moulded chamfered
jambs and hood mould and label stops. Entrance is flanked by 4-light stone
mullioned windows of ovolo section with hood moulds and label stops. First floor
has 2 similar windows and a 2-light renewed window. 2-light stone mullioned
cellar window has hood mould and label stops and mullions of ovolo section.
Interior: C18 moulded stone fireplace with square head (8'3" wide by 5'3" high).
C18 staircase with stick balusters. Said to have late C18 panelling on ground
floor.
