The Rock and Rock Cottage

(Formerly listed as Rock Cottage)

GV II

House. Mid C18, with late C18 and C19 alterations. C20 alterations. Squared
coursed limestone. Attic storey coursed limestone rubble. Continuous slate roof.
Brick end stacks, the one to right on a stone base, 2 storeys plus attic.
3-window range. 2 entrances. Renewed 4-panelled door with wood lintel and
panelled glazed door with divided overlight and C20 open porch. Ground floor has
2 renewed sashes with glazing bars. Wood lintels, the one on left has chamfers.
First floor has 2 sashes with glazing bars and wood lintels and a central
2-light wood casement with chamfered wood lintel. Attic has 2 small wood
casement windows with glazing bars and a centre blocked window. Interior not
inspected.
