House, Reset datestone D/JM/1666. C19 and C20 alterations and additions.
Limestone ashlar. Steeply pitched stone slate roof laid to diminishing courses.
Renewed stone coped gables with moulded kneelers. Stone end stacks. Central
staircase plan with wing to rear forming L-plan. 2 storeys and basement.
3-window range. Entrance reached by flight of stone steps with balustrade at
top. Tuscan porch with flat hood. Entrance has 6-panelled door and moulded stone
architraves with tugged held. Entrance is flanked by C20 windows in stone
surrounds. Stone lintels. 3 similar first floor windows have continuous hood
mould. Similar hood mould over ground floor. Basement has C20 casement with
small panes. Dentilled stone eaves cornice. C19/C20 rear kitchen wing of single
storey plus attic. Interior. C19 fireplaces. Interior not inspected.
