An inscription panel states "In fulfillment of the charitable intentions
of John Parsons Esq. Alderman of this City who died February 12 1814 this
Almshouse for four poor men and four poor women was erected and endowed
in the year 18l6". 2-storeyed coursed rubble on a stone moulded plinth
with a moulded string at the 1st floor and under the parapet, which latter
rises in the centre to take the inscription panel. The ground and 1st floors
have 4 2-light stone mullioned windows with square moulded labels. There
are two front doorways with 4-centred heads and moulded square labels. (For
