Barn. Early C17 with later alterations. Weatherboarded timber frame on
rendered rubblestone plinth; plain tile roof. Wide full-height entrance
in second bay from south with doorways to far left and right; 2 eaves hatches
to centre. Interior. Framing visible: square panels, 3 from cill to
wall-plate with long straight tension braces, also to bay divisions. Single-
purlin (formerly double-purlin) roof in 6 bays with raking struts from tie
beams to principal rafters, collar and tie beam north end truss and criss-
cross patern to south gable end, similar to gable ends of The Old Granary
(q.v.).
