Farmhouse. Probably early C17 with later additions and alterations. Timber-framed now mainly rendered and cased in red brick, plain tile roofs.

Hall with two-bay cross-wing projecting to left; mid-C19 brick addition at right angles to rear on right. One storey and attic, dentilled eaves cornice to hall range; framing: gable end of hall range and rear gable of cross-wing with framing exposed, both showing V-struts from the collar, characteristic of C17 timber frame; irregular fenestration, late C19 and C20 casements, one on each floor to cross-wing with one to left and one to right in hall range, both with segmental heads, gabled eaves dormer above left window; blocked doorway slightly to left of centre with present entrance immediately to right; six-panel door under trellised porch to left of cross-wing; tall external stack to back wall with later brick lean-to behind; external stack to cross-wing to front in angle with hall range and subsidiary stack to hall range behind ridge on right.

Interior: chamfered cross and spine beams to right-hand room of hall range with spine beam and heavy joists in room to left.
