BULLRING (south-east side)
No. 2


House, now restaurant. Early C19. Red brick with slate roof. 3 storeys.
Painted wooden fascia. Integral brick end stack to left. Pair of second-
floor 16-pane sashes with stone cills and gauged-brick heads, and central
first-floor 24-pane tripartite glazing bar sash with stone cill
and wooden surround consisting of panelled pilasters, frieze and moulded
cornice. Late C20 shop-front, with half-glazed door to left and passage-
way to right. Included for group value.
