Pigeon House. Possibly medieval in origin. Local lias stone to near ashlar, Ham stone dressings; corrugated asbestos
cement sheeting replacement roof. Rectangular plan. Flat headed chamfered doorway in north wall, and nearby a plain
timber framed window with iron bars set criss-cross. Inside much altered by loss of original roof and one time
insertion of a first floor, but accommodation for some 800 birds survives. A dovecote mentioned c1750. (VAG Report,
unpublished SRO, I981).
