Semi-detached cottage. Late C18/early C19. Ham stone cut and squared facade with ashlar dressings, coursed rubble to
sides and rear; bitumenised double Roman clay tiled roof with plain gables: brick end chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2
bays. Bay 1 has 3-light plain headed mullioned windows to both floors, with iron-traded opening lights; bay 2, which
appears to be an extension or rebuild, has a 3-light horizontal-bar casement above. C20 timber garage doors below like
shutters fitted to all windows. Between bays a C20 door in plain opening. Simple casement light in west gable. Interior
not seen. Included primarily for group value on an important corner of the village, (Attached to north gable is No 43
(qv)).
