Farmhouse, now 2 cottages. C16, subsequently enlarged, late C20 addition. Red sandstone random rubble, thatched roof,
external stone stacks with brick caps to gable ends and on crosswing gable end left, another stack to left of cross
passage. L-plan, 3 cell and cross passage with crosswing left. One and a half storeys, irregularly placed C19 and C20
casements, small glazed opening in crosswing groundfloor right, eyebrow dormer and small glazed opening below eaves
left of plank door, otherwise unlit on facade; single storey lean-to addition in re-entrant angle left, left return 3
bays with single storey asbestos slate roofed porch addition. Interior: only No 5 (right) viewed, 6 panel moulded
compartment ceiling to left of cross passage, spade stops to chamfered lintel of open fireplace with chamfered stone
jambs, chamfered beams with scroll stops. (Photograph in NMR).
