Boer War Memorial

War memorial. c1902. By Caffin of Regent Street. Stone.
Soldier leaning on rifle raised on high chamfered plinth,
itself on a stepped base. On the plinth, the dates of the
South African Wars (1899-1902), the war dead, and a bust of
Queen Victoria in low relief. The memorial is surrounded by a
cast-iron railing.
