GV II

House, now offices. Early C18, altered mid C19 and mid C20.
Stucco, colourwashed, with ashlar plinth and dressings and
slate roof. Corner block, 3 storeys; 5 window range of plain
sashes. Above, 5 smaller C20 casements. Central C19 painted
ashlar doorcase with entablature and round-arched double
doors. On each side, 2 boarded windows. Right return, to St
Mary's Gate, has two 16-pane sashes and above, two 12-pane
sashes. Off-centre round-arched 6-panel door, with 2 boarded
windows to right.
INTERIOR is reputed to contain original staircase and
fireplaces.
