House or house row. C17. Timber-framed. Exposed posts with red
brick infilling in stretcher bond to ground floor, first floor tile-
hung. Exjiosed framing of close-set thin-scantling studs, almost
straight tension brace, and jowled post, to left gable end.
Approximately 4 timber-framed bays. 2 low storeys and garret.
Continuous jetty with rendered bressumer. Half-hipped roof.
Multiple red and grey brick stack to third timber-framed bay from
left. Irregular fenestration of 3 casements; one deep 3-light to
left, one paned single-light to left of stack, and one 2-light to
right. Boarded shutters to 2 left ground-floor windows. 3
boarded doors; towards left end, to right end of broad left-central
bay, and to right end. Brick lean-to with rendered gable to right end.
Rear lean-to. Interior not inspected. Formerly known as Loddenden
Cottages.
