House row. Nos. 12 - 18 late C18 or early C19. Nos. 6 - 10 Cl9. Ground
floor Nos 12 - 18 rendered brick to left of carriage entrance, chequered
red and grey brick to right. First floor tile-hung. No. 10 painted brick,
Nos. 6 - 8 red brick in Flemish bond. Plain tile roofs. 2 storeys on
brick plinth. Dentilled brick eaves cornice to Nos. 6 - 10. Roof hipped to
right end No. 8, hip returning. Slender brick ridge stack to junction No. 18
and Shakespeare House. Larger ridge stacks towards each end Nos. 12 - 18.
Three rear stacks to Nos. 6 - 10. Irregular fenestration of 7 windows; four
3-light casements to Nos. 12-16, one 2-storey flat-roofed canted bay to No.
10 and regular 2-window front of 12-pane sashes to Nos. 6 - 8. Later carriage
entrance towards right end Nos. 12 - 18. Boarded doors to right of carriage
entrance to No. 14, and to right end of No. 12. Half-glazed porch with
trellised bargeboards and plain stained glass. Half-glazed door to centre
No. 8 with lean-to porch. Panelled door to No. 6 with segmental head and
flat bracketed hood to right return elevation. Interiors not inspected.
