Part of the reredos. The Last Supper was the first Communion. High relief carved alabaster Pascal lamb and wheat. - The Bread which we break is not the Communion of the Body of Christ-. and Swan vulnus and Grape vines. -The cup of blessing which we bless is not the communion of the Blood of Christ-. Part of the reredos. The Last Supper was the first Communion. The text is carved into the altar rail, where the celebrants kneel. (Photo Oct 2017).
