School built 1857 by Sir Arthur Hazlerigg, 11th baronet. Coursed ironstone rubble and brick with steep Welsh slate roof. 1½ storeyed, five bays. The outer bays are projecting gabled wings. The gables are coped and have moulded stone kneelers. (Photo Apr 2008).
