House. C17, extended c1800. Timber framed core clad in red brick and Welsh
slate roof with brick central ridge and wing end stacks. Facade faces rear.
2 storeys of 2 casements : 3-light centre-opening and 2-light. Similar on
ground floor with further 2-light to left. Cambered lintels. C19 canted
bay on right end. On 2 storey wing behind, gable facing entrance, 2 2-lights
and 1-light on 1st floor. On ground floor a 6-panelled door to left with
glazed top panels, 3-light, and further door. Inside on the 1st floor can
be seen the corner of the original timber-framed house with square panels
visible in fragments. The plinth (now plastered) is visible on the ground
floor. Chamfered ceiling beams.
