House. c1700-20 with later additions and alterations.
Pinkish-red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar copings and
renewed plain tile roof, cast-iron grille and brackets. Early
C18 fenestration except to upper floor. 3 storeys, 3
first-floor windows. Chamfered plinth with grille t left.
Ground floor has 12-fixed-light window in flush frame, then
two 6/6 sashes, in flush frames and with flat header arches
and sills, that to right shows evidence of taller opening.
Off-centre left entrance, roll-edged step to 2-panel door with
brass lion-head knocker and bell pull, in fluted surround with
hood on shaped brackets. First floor has 6/6 sashes in flush
frames. 3-course second-floor band. Second floor has two 3/6
sashes with cambered arches. Coped gable ends.
INTERIOR: noted as retaining original joinery including
panelled shutters.
