1909. Architects Figgis and Mundy. School founded 1536. Neo Wren style. Red
brick with white stone dressings. 3 sides of building arranged around central
courtyard with open, semi-circular arcade of pillars closing 4th side to Morgan
Street. End bays of west and east wings have white stone rusticated full height
arch, and cornice, with blocking course. Mostly 2 storeys. Rear wing has cornice
and blocking course. Large hipped roof with central cupola. Flanking short square
towers with cupolas. Some unobtrusive small additions.
The Coopers' Company's School with Nos 1 to 48 (consec) and Nos 53 to 64 (consec)
Tredegar Square, forms a group.
