House, 1830s. Brick with stone dressings, slate roof. 3
storeys with basement, 2 bays. Basement lintel band; 1st
floor sill band; top frieze, cornice and blocking course.
Windows have wedge lintels and are sashed, with glazing bars
above ground floor. Round-headed entrance has Ionic
doorcase. Iron railings to area and steps have decorative
heads; stone gate piers. 2nd floor iron fire escape connects
this item with No. 8 Edge Lane.
