Lodge to Wyreside Hall, Nether Wyresdale C.P. (q.v.). Early C19th. Squared
sandstone, with punched ashlar at front, and hipped slate roof behind parapet.
Greek style. One storey, 2 bays, with continuous entablature. South front
has distyle Ionic portico with moulded pediment above entablature. The 2
Doric pilasters against the front wall have acanthus necking. Windows sashed
with glazing bars and plain ashlar reveals. Door has plain stone surround.
Chimneys behind parapet at left and right. East wall has 3 sashed windows
with glazing bars.
