Farmhouse, probably later C18. Coursed sandstone blocks with large quoins,
slate roof with gable chimneys. Rectangular double pile 3-bay plan.
Two storeys; symmetrical; rounded gutter cornice; pilastered doorcase
with raised cornice, 2 ground floor windows and 3 above, those at each
side with large and irregular jamb stones, that in centre of 1st floor
with plain stone case; all have casements with glazing bars. Rear
wall has similar windows to each side of both floors but with exaggerated
jamb stones, a tall round-headed stairlight with glazing bars with a pair
of jamb stones at the centre, and a ground floor doorway to the left of
this, also with large jamb stones.
