Martholme Gatehouse

Uploader's Comments

Looking off the yard at the front and gable end of the building. Martholme was rebuilt in 1577 by Thomas Hesketh High Sheriff of Lancashire for 1563. He added an east wing and a gatehouse which has been restored by the present owners.
